Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026.

These terms apply when you use www.brainguru.in, including its free tools, blog and forms. The website is run by Brainguru Technologies Private Limited (“Brainguru”, “we”), CIN U72200DL2011PTC227021, registered office 3448, Second Floor, Behind Telephone Exchange, Delhi Gate, Delhi 110002, India. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no signature. They are also our user agreement for the purposes of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Work we do for clients

These terms cover the website, not paid work. Any service we provide is governed by a separate written proposal or contract signed or accepted by both sides, and that document prevails over anything on this website for that work.

Nothing on this website is an offer that you can accept to form a contract. Sending an enquiry or having a consultation with us commits neither of us to anything.

Information on this website

We write our pages and articles to be useful, but they are general information. In particular:

  • They are not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, medical or regulatory advice. Take advice from a qualified person on your own situation before acting on it.
  • They can go out of date. An article reflects what was true around its date. Laws, prices and products change after that.
  • Prices are indicative. Any price, range or budget figure is a guide only, not a quote. A quote comes only in a written proposal.
  • Results are not promised. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, lead volume, revenue or other outcome from anything described here. Results depend on your market, your business and factors outside anyone’s control.
  • City and industry pages describe an approach. A page about a city, country or industry explains how we would work on that kind of project. It does not mean we have an office or clients there.
  • Examples are illustrative. Sample figures and scenarios are examples, unless a page clearly says they describe real work for a named client. Images are illustrative unless a caption says otherwise.

Our free tools

Our calculators, generators and checkers are free and give estimates or starting points. Their results depend on what you enter and on assumptions built into them, and they can be wrong. AI model prices and similar third-party figures are copied from the vendors’ published information on the date shown, and vendors change them. Please check anything important against the original source before you rely on it, publish it or spend money on it.

Most tools run in your browser. The SEO analyser fetches the web address you enter, so only enter addresses you are allowed to have analysed. Our Privacy Policy explains what each kind of tool does with your data.

If you rate a tool, rate it honestly and once. Please do not try to manipulate ratings.

Enquiries, job applications and comments

You must be 18 or over to send us anything through this website. What you send must be accurate, and you must have the right to send it, including any details about another person.

A job application is not a contract and does not promise you an interview or a job.

Comments are published only after we approve them. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to publish, display and moderate it on this website for as long as it stays here. We may decline or remove any comment, and you can ask us to remove yours at any time.

What you must not do

You must not post or send anything through this website that:

  • belongs to another person and which you have no right to share;
  • is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person’s bodily or other privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or promotes enmity between groups;
  • relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, is an online game that can harm its users, is harmful to children, or infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right;
  • deceives or misleads about its origin, knowingly communicates false or misleading information, or impersonates another person;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries or public order, incites an offence, prevents the investigation of an offence, or insults another nation;
  • contains software code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functioning of any computer resource; or
  • breaks any law in force.

You must also not:

  • try to get into, test or disrupt this website, its servers or its admin area, or get around its security checks;
  • use forms to send spam or automated submissions;
  • put an unreasonable load on the website. Automated access must follow our robots.txt and must not slow the website for others; or
  • use this website to break the law or to harm anyone.

If you break these terms, we may remove what you posted and block your access to this website. Where the law requires it, we may also report the matter to the authorities. These rules apply to everyone who uses this website.

Our content

The text, design, code and branding of this website belong to us or to those who licensed them to us, with all rights reserved. You may read and print pages for your own use, link to any page, and quote short extracts with a credit and a link. Nothing here limits what the Copyright Act, 1957 lets you do anyway.

Images are different: our Image Licence sets out how you may reuse them.

Other companies’ names and trademarks belong to their owners. Mentioning a company or product does not mean it endorses us or works with us, unless we say so.

Other websites

We link to other websites, including official sources, and some features use outside services such as WhatsApp or Google Maps if you choose to open them. We do not control those websites and services and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Their own terms apply.

Availability and changes to the website

We may change, suspend or remove any part of this website, including a free tool, at any time. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful code. Please use your own security software. We are not responsible for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Our responsibility to you

This website is provided free of charge and as it is. To the extent the law allows:

  • we give no warranty about the website, its information or its tools, whether express or implied;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data, rankings or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or from relying on its information or tools; and
  • our total liability to you for anything arising from your use of the website is limited to ₹5,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for fraud or wilful misconduct, or takes away any right you have that cannot be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This section does not apply to paid work, where your contract with us decides these questions.

Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and which cookies and storage this website uses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. The new version applies from that date to your use of the website after it, and does not change what applied to your earlier use. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the website.

Complaints and contact

If you have a complaint about this website or its content, including a comment or a copyright concern, our Grievance Redressal page names our Grievance Officer and explains the process and timelines. For anything else, write to info@brainguru.in or call +91 80100 10000.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or this website. This does not stop you approaching a consumer commission or other authority that the law allows you to approach, such as under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or the Grievance Appellate Committee described on our Grievance Redressal page.

General

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. The sections on our content, our responsibility to you, and governing law and courts continue to apply after you stop using the website. Legal notices to us must be in writing and sent to our registered office, with a copy to info@brainguru.in. If these terms are ever translated, the English version prevails.
