To fulfill the requirements, the Union Government has begun with a very determined and important initiative of cloud computing which has been named as Meghraj, which will focus on an e-services. Meghraj is soon going to be launched in December, which will be the first national cloud initiative program.
Many questions are arising that can the cloud help you modify government? Will the speed and cost-effectiveness of a cloud server help in managing the citizens' requirement.
And the answer to the question is that, the Union Government are specifying their goals just to deliver improved citizen services. To make themselves flexible in delivering their goals and to respond to the new challenges and opportunities is the main motive to adapt the cloud computing service.
Cloud-based apps on the e Gov App Store at a National Data Center, will be the main platform to run applications in national clouds. The bright spot for the Union Government is to provide services to government departments, citizens and businesses through the Internet as well as mobile connectivity, to meet the needs including security, privacy and availability. It will look after the service management, innovation and adoption of emerging technologies, to easily meet the growing demand of the citizens.
The government can easily focus on delivering the requirements to the public through greater access to e-services.
We are hoping to see that how open cloud can help government run better and faster through their flexible e-services.
